Our club at Bloomfield High is devoted to helping students gain the wisdom and experience that is essential in the business world.

Most people don’t realize how important these skills are to everyone, even those who are not looking into majoring in business in college or want to follow a career in business.  Business is everywhere, we deal with business on a regular basis.  Every career possibility has at least one aspect of business, whether it’s communication skills or common business ethics.

Besides providing useful business skills through competitions and projects, FBLA also provides for the community.  FBLA has a number of community service projects scheduled to take place all throughout the year.  FBLA believes that providing for the community is the most important task this club must achieve.  With all the opportunities our community offers, FBLA finds it imperative to give back.

This year, FBLA hopes to make a number of field trips, including one to the Federal Reserve Bank in NYC and one to the Sony Wonders Technology Lab, also in NYC.  Annually, FBLA also has a field trip to Six Flags for its members.  FBLA is a great place to learn more about the world of business.  Come find out what we’re about!
